At AAA Computer Repair (941-747-6070), located at 3890 State Rd. 64 / Manatee Ave E in Bradenton, Melissa and Robert Turner are as flexible as their customers are diverse. Each day we encounter news kinds of technical issues to repair, and new kinds of technical and personal needs for better machines.
The technical issues our customers present range from wiping the data from computer hard drives so a machine can be safely sold or given away without compromising a former owner's security and privacy, to meeting the needs of high-tech gamers who want blazing speed and amazing screen refresh rates to match their competition's.
Not a week goes by that they don't meet a challenge that is unique to a particular machine. Some take many hours to fix; most take just one or two.
It may be hard drive damage and "blue screens," destructive viruses or memory-hogging spyware, persistent popups and error messages, worn-out motherboards, faulty Windows installations, failing video cards, non-working laptop Internet connections, aging processors, bad memory or CD drives that won't copy your music.
We can save personal data that is marooned on a damaged or virus-clogged hard drive,

While AAA's basic charge is $40 an hour minimum charge for work conducted in the shop, they will travel to your and fix your computer there for a $50 per hour minimum charge. Also, AAA Computer Repair offers same-day pickup and delivery ($25) when your repair or installation issues can be corrected quickly.
Unlike some other shops, we bill for all parts and software at our cost (except shipping), and we accept credit cards, debit cards, checks, money orders and cash.

... My greatest achievement was to win a First Amendment lawsuit (Shea v Reno) against Atty. Gen. Janet Reno over the First Amendment, in which I got a law declared unconstitutional in Manhattan Federal Court and was affirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court. I've been a reporter almost all my life, and have worked at or published in publications like The Reader's Digest, Esquire, Argosy, the Los Angeles Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. I was a 1970 Pulitzer Prize nominee for my stories in the Village Voice, and am an investigative reporter who once got the President's nominee to the SEC withdrawn. I'm also a native New Yorker who grew up on a farm in a small village that is now an important suburb of New York City. We still live in our pre-Revolutionary War family farmhouse there. I lived in Marietta, Ga., and Norman, Okla., as a kid, and went to the University of Oklahoma, Orange County Community College in Middletown, N.Y., and Antioch College in Columbia, Md. I lived in Beverly Hills and Hollywood, Calif., for 26 years until moving to Bradenton, Fla., in 2003.
